I have been feeling the crafting urge pretty strongly and repeatedly in recent weeks - there is only one cure for that in my experience - make something !! I have had a fabric fascination for many years, fabric makes me happy and what would make me even happier is to find something fabulous to make with it. One small problem rears it's ugly head time and time again......alas, my skills are limited. I so want to learn and make gorgeous, adorable aprons like I one I posted earlier this week, I want to quilt and embroider and be magnificently skilled at all things fabric related. I have the desire and willingness to learn, in fact even at the time of this writing the complete collection of Homestead Blessings with The West Ladies are making their way to me - I cannot begin to tell you how much I am looking forward to receiving and watching these DVD's. I will post more about them as I view them - I already know they will be wonderful!! Included in the set The Principal purchased for me are two sewing related DVDs, The Art of Quilting and The Art of Sewing. I need the help but in the mean time I have gotten started a little on my own......I made these fwonderful, happy, fabric flowers ;-) The Principal keeps asking what I am going to do with them. Well for now, take a few pictures and just look at them because they make me happy. Once I get my looking fix in I will have a decision to make - here are some of my thoughts - make a recycled denim pillow fabulous , cutie pie an apron, adorn a shopping or tote bag or maybe use them as a little happiness on a plain brown paper gift bag. What do you think? I would love your to hear what comes to your creative minds......

Those flowers are wonderful! You could use one in place of a bow as a package topper. Or make a brooch with one by hot gluing a pin to the back. Whatever you do with them, they will be fabulous!
People sell these as hairbows very often. You just hot glue one of the clips to the bottom. Very cute.
Also, I'm in the Daily Bread Buying club. I found your site because of your email signature. I'd love to read your opinion of the videos, but also I do a lot of sewing. I'm not expert, but I'd be glad to help you any way I can. Some sweet ladies took time out and taught me the things I know, so I love to kind of pay it forward. :)
